Explore 214: ArboretumMonday, October 27th Celebrate fall in one of the most beautiful places in Dallas. This seasonal festival showcases more than 100,000 pumpkins, gourds, and squash, plus 150,000 fall-blooming flowers and plants. Stroll through the nationally acclaimed Pumpkin Village, enjoy seasonal activities, and take in the stunning autumn scenery that makes this festival a must-see Dallas tradition. We have several members that have memberships here so we should be able to get in for free all together! Please let me know if you have extra tickets available or if you will need some so I can coordinate. All Member Playgroups Fall EventSunday, November 2nd Join us for Master Bubble Wranglers! They make giant bubbles using bubble wands that are between 4-12 feet long! They make Big Bubbles, Jellyfish Bubbles, Texas Snow Bubbles, the Quattro Bubble, the Bubble Cloud (crowd favorite), and Monster Bubbles. They will play “dodge bubble” with the crowd and have fun ways of interacting with the crowd of kids and families. Kids are always cheering with great delight as they try to pop, chase and catch bubbles. Sometimes they do this while on their grown-up’s shoulders reaching for the highest bubbles! Festival at the SwitchyardSaturday, November 2nd Afternoon BYOB: Wild AcreSunday, November 9th ![]() Come Buy Your Own Beer (and maybe eat dinner) with us at Wild Acre! It has been named in every list you can find as the most kid friendly brewery in DFW so we think it will be worth the drive! Kids encouraged, spouses optional. *Cowboys bye week* Moms' Night Out: Crockpot Recipe NightWednesday, November 12th What's the one thing we always have to do? Figure out what's for dinner!! Make your favorite crockpot recipe and send me the recipe. We will get together to try all the amazing dishes and then I'll send everyone the recipes after so you can make the best ones back at home. Hopefully we get some new ideas of easy meals to throw into our rotations this fall. You can bring a soup or bottle wine if you don't have a crockpot recipe to share, you're still welcome!!
